Albino axolotls are a pale pink color with more saturated hues in their gills, and either clear or red eyes. Their skin is slightly translucent; if you look closely, you can sometimes see the bones in their limbs and bodies.
Copper axolotls are one of the more rare common morphs. They have brown/copper-colored bodies covered in both light spots, dark spots, and iridophores.
Copper Melanoid axolotls are among some of the rarest morphs to come across! They have a beautiful lavender coloration with bright pink, fluffy gills.
Also described as "Speckled Axolotls," Dirty Leucistic axolotls have small, dark spots of melanophores that have the appearance of tiny freckles on their face and sometimes regions of their body.
GFP Albino axolotls lack dark color pigments, so they often have amazing, intense green flourescent coloring to them. Albino GFP axolotls are said to show more GFP coloration than any other axolotl morph.
GFP Melanoid axolotls feature an elegant black color with piercing green eyes. The contrast between its body and eyes alone make it seem as if it were from another planet.
The GFP Wild Type axolotl is a bit more eye-catching than most thanks to the green fluorescent protein (GFP) gene that it carries in its DNA. This gene gives GFP axolotls a bright green cast that glows under certain types of light.
Golden Albino axolotls are a unique axolotl morph due to their beautiful golden yellow appearance. Many of this morph also have shiny, light-reflecting pigments known as "iridophores" covering their tails and bodies.
